Page structure
What is page structure in SEO?
Page structure refers to how the content on a webpage is organized using HTML heading tags (H1, H2, H3) and visual hierarchy. A clear page structure helps visitors scan and understand content quickly, and helps search engines identify the main topic of a page and how subtopics relate to it. A well-structured page has one H1 that signals the primary topic, followed by H2s and H3s that organize supporting content in a logical order.
