Practical guidance on AI, creative business, and websites for builders
ready to grow with intention.

For anyone who's AI-curious

One Foot Human, One Foot Digital

September 8, 5:30 to 7pm
Four years riding the waves of AI. I'll walk through a brief history of how we got here, the human element that matters more as the tools get better, and what this means for you right now. You'll leave with a clear, grounded action list and a confident way to think about what's next.

The Studio You're Building

October 13, 5:30 to 7pm
This is the crash course I wish someone had given me. I'll cover both the freelance and founder path: business structure basics, pricing, finding right-fit clients, proposals, onboarding, and finding the courage to take the next step. Real insider knowledge from someone who's built it.

Digital foundations for professionals who rely on a website

Websites Without the Mystery

November 10, 5:30 to 7pm
Websites make sense once someone explains them in the right language. This talk is for anyone who relies on one without a technical background, including the office manager who inherited the website and became the go-to overnight. I'll walk through each layer: site platforms, hosting and domains, contact form delivery, page structure, and a Figma introduction. You'll leave understanding how web foundations work and how to ask your developer sharper questions.

Yes. Every presentation is shaped around your audience and event goals. My talks tend to resonate most with people who are building something: founders, creatives, marketers, and business leaders who want practical guidance. I ask questions before I show up so the content connects when it matters.

Calm, curious, and visual. I use storytelling and clear frameworks to make complex ideas simple, so people leave with something they can act on.

My primary format is a keynote or talk with a live process demo and Q&A. For groups that want to go deeper, I offer extended workshops with a hands-on working session. I also jury competitions, awards, and exhibits on request.

Talks followed by a live demo and Q&A typically run 60 minutes. Extended workshops run two to four hours. I'm flexible and will work with your program schedule.

Booking typically fills three to six months out, especially in the fall. Reaching out early gives us the best chance to make it work.

Yes. I'm based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and available for regional road travel across the Midwest and airline travel nationally for the right engagement.

Yes. I provide slide decks in advance for review and can supply a speaker bio, headshot, and talk description for your program materials. Everything you need to introduce me well is ready when you need it.

A projector or large screen, a reliable microphone, and a clear brief on your audience and goals before the event.
